Hello Folks,
Just want to let you all know that we had a successful weekend at the Southwest Chocolate and Coffee Fest. Organized by Dean Stroeber and Blue River Productions. i am truly grateful for their continued efforts to bring quality and safety to our coffee and chocolate community. Just because I specialize in coffee roasting does not mean I intend to neglect our chocolate community . I ran into local suppliers of coffees and sourced cacao raw product. What a chance to support our New Mexico communities all around. I met some coffee and cacao suppliers , now in Albuquerque with roots in Cameroon.. They ( Paraiso Trading Co. ) were gracious enough to let me sample some of their product.both the finished cacao and their coffees.
I was surrounded by love, Cacao and coffee and dog treats. The immediate neighbors to the west of me ( booth 802 ) were folks who traveled to the show from Reno Nevada who are supporting immediate family in a direct trade relationship of cacao and coffee from Ecuador. Thank you all for your efforts. I ran into a fellow roaster who works with Oval Dogs Coffee in Corrales, and he was a great help also..
