Hello I am W. Brewster Bird. I am developing a custom roasting business using small scale fluid bed roasters. These roasters allow the most variety, and freshest roast possible.  I started with the usual air pop popcorn poppers. These machines allow one to craft about a 1/4 lb of green beans at a time.  I recently purchased/leased a 1.4 lb capacity fluid bed roaster heated with propane and fanned with 110 volt ac electricity ( house current). We have added two 2.8 lb capacity roasters so my capacity can be five pounds of finished roast per batch.  My roasting family has expanded in capacity and location. I am roasting at Socorro , New Mexico’s Community Kitchen ! I am grateful to them, the Farmer’s Market , the Socorro County Chamber of Commerce , the State of New Mexico’s Environmental  and Public Health Department and the City of Socorro.  I am also proud to be a small part of The Hub, a business development group located here in Socorro.  I am a proud member of the Specialty Coffee Association of America and am Roasters Guild member # 6997983.  See my other shares on these pages on my progress. .

      Dear Barry,
      How far from Socorro, NM are you? I have a contact number that can be used as a text first number- 575-418-2704. My vehicle is ” standing in the need of Prayer” ( actually a rebuilt transmission ) before I can travel to Albuquerque. However, I can ship.
