As of today, we have Sumatra Mahndeling ( baker’s Chocolate, tobacco) , Guatemala Robusta ( caffiene-packed ) (cacao, roasted peanuts), both from Howell’s Fired Coffee, just roasted.

We are planning to roast coffees sourced from Genuine Origin ( a Volcafe subsidiary), Royal Coffees ( independent brokers ) and Sonofresco ( subsidiary of Coffee Holdings).

Other coffees I have sampled recently include coffees from Lanna Coffee Honey Artisan, Artisan, and French Roast.

Tried Tazz Coffee’s Tanzanian Peaberry, Maverick’s Roasting Company Tanzanian , Stumptown Roasters Indonesian and their “Mindbender”.

The coffees all taste like coffee. But when one waits for the last taste of each cup each cup tastes a bit different.

Our new brand of coffee Outside Agitator is still single – origin or limited blend coffee.

As a coffee roaster I probably should not talk about church or the Orthodox Christian seasons. Advent is a preparatory season before Christmas. Getting ready for Christmas involves prayer, meditation, maybe a day of fasting, and giving. I plan on roasting some beans and am planning a pour-over contest for the 23rd.
